Description
Archbishopric Cathedral of Bogota, Colombia. It is a Roman Catholic cathedral located at the eastern side of Bolivar Square in Bogota, D.C.
The Cathedral was built between 1807 and 1823. It is said to be built by descendants of Jesuit missionaries. The cathedral is the biggest in Colombia and one of the biggest ones in South America. Behind the Cathedral, you can see a mountain, Monserrate. It rises to 10,341 feet above sea level, where there is a church with a shrine.
