Description
The German Fountain in Istanbul, is at the northern end of the Hippodrome in Sultanahmet. Constructed as a present from German Emperor Wilhelm II in 1898, it represents one of the most beautiful monuments in Istanbul. It stands as an important symbol of the close relationship between the Ottoman Empire and Germany at the beginning of the 20th century.
Proceeds from the sale of this photograph goes to help orphaned and abandoned children in Colombia South America.
