Description
Picture taken in Kruger National Park, South Africa. The South African Giraffe is a subspecies of giraffe found in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique. It has rounded or blotched spots, some with star-like extensions on a light tan background, running down to the hooves. Oxpeckers eat ticks and other annoying insects off many of the animals in Africa, so it is a symbiotic relationship in which everyone benefits.
